Coronavirus Information - Nevada

AVOID CORONAVIRUS SCAMS

Here are some tips to help you keep the scammers at bay from the Federal Trade Commission:

Hang up on robocalls. Don’t press any numbers. Scammers are using illegal robocalls to pitch everything from scam Coronavirus treatments to work-at-home schemes. The recording might say that pressing a number will let you speak to a live operator or remove you from their call list, but it might lead to more robocalls, instead.

Ignore online offers for vaccinations and home test kits. There currently are no vaccines, pills, potions, lotions, lozenges or other prescription or over-the-counter products available to treat or cure Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) — online or in stores. At this time, there also are no FDA-authorized home test kits for the Coronavirus. Visit the FDA to learn more.

Fact-check information. Scammers, and sometimes well-meaning people, share information that hasn’t been verified. Before you pass on any messages, contact trusted sources. Visit What the U.S. Government is doing for links to federal, state and local government agencies.

Know who you’re buying from. Online sellers may claim to have in-demand products, like cleaning, household, and health and medical supplies when, in fact, they don’t.

Don’t respond to texts and emails about checks from the government. The details are still being worked out. Anyone who tells you they can get you the money now is a scammer.

Don’t click on links from sources you don’t know. They could download viruses onto your computer or device.

Watch for emails claiming to be from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or experts Watch for emails claiming to be from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or experts saying they have information about the virus. For the most up-to-date information about the Coronavirus, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Do your homework when it comes to donations, whether through charities or crowdfunding sites. Don’t let anyone rush you into donating. If someone wants donations in cash, by gift card, or by wiring money, don’t do it.

Community Notification - March 18, 2020

3/18/20

Attention all Resident(s):

This is an uncertain time. While we don’t have all the answers, we are doing our best to balance providing the service you expect for our residents, their family and friends, and our employees. That being said, due to Governor Sisolak’s mandate, Picerne Real Estate Group will be temporarily closing all community offices to the public as of 12:00 pm today, Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Our goal is to reopen in the next 30-days.

Effective Immediately:

  • All offices will be closed to the public, however, if you need to reach the office, please call during our normal business hours.
  • All offices will be closed entirely on Sundays until further notice (with the exception of Level 25 at Cactus).
  • Please submit all rental payments via our online Resident Portal. If you are one of the few remaining residents’ that are not on our online Resident Portal for rental payments, we are happy to assist with setting up your account online or we can schedule an appointment for you to come to the office to pay your rent.
  • All non-emergency maintenance requests have been suspended until further notice. If you do submit an emergency work order it is required that a staff member conduct a verbal interview with you to discuss the health status of your home before we will enter. We request that if we do enter your apartment to complete a work order that you stay 6' away from the technician and limit your interaction with them.

As this situation continues to evolve rapidly, we believe that temporarily closing the office to the public, except under emergency situations, is the right thing to do. We want to be transparent with our decisions as a company and inform all of our residents of what this means for you.

We are working diligently to provide a well-maintained home and working environment backed by our excellent customer service. Please check your community websites for future updates and information concerning the heightened CDC COVID-19 protocols.

To stay updated on information regarding COVID-19, please visit this link.

We also highly suggest following The President’s protocol on the 15 Days to Slow the Spread, which can be found here.

Again, if you have any questions, please contact the leasing office by phone.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

March 13, 2020

Dear Resident(s),

We are aware of growing concerns regarding the Coronavirus (“COVID-19”) and while there are no confirmed cases at our property, we are taking proactive measures within our community including daily disinfecting amenity and office areas.

In an effort to minimize any possible spread of germs, we ask that during this time you please utilize our resident portal system for any needs (from paying your rent to submitting work orders to signing leases) that you may have concerning your apartment home.

We love providing exciting social events and resident activities that allow our residents to feel a sense of community while enjoying themselves at the same time.

Unfortunately, out of an abundance of caution we are going to be canceling our St. Patty’s Day event. However, we ask that you feel free to participate in the Puppy Photo Contest by sharing a picture of your puppy on the property’s Facebook page or by emailing it to the office. We will have a drawing as planned on 3/23/20.

As soon as these concerns sub-side we will announce a future date and time for our resident events.

If you have any specific questions or comments not addressed on the portal, please feel free to call or email any of our team members for personalized, specific assistance.

Regards,

Management
